MICHAEL FREELAND REAPPOINTED TO THE SENATE; BULLISH ON SPORTS TOURISM

Michael Freeland is now back in Parliament’s Upper House, after being sworn in as the newest Senator Friday afternoon.

He took the Oaths of Office, Allegiance and Secrecy during a ceremony at Government House.

It follows his victory in the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party primary in St George on Tuesday.

The legislator says sports tourism will be one of his key areas of focus.
