Minister Leandro commends Cancer Awareness Fund Raising Campaign

Breast Cancer Survivor and Minister of Education, Youth, Sports and Gender Affairs, Dr. the hon. Jacqui Quinn-Leandro has commended the JCI for spearheading the Cancer Awareness Fund Raising campaign.
As part of the campaign, dubbed “Love Yourself Learn About Cancer” the JCI hosted a concert Saturday night with the proceeds going towards cancer screening equipment at MSJMC.
Speaking at the concert Dr. Quinn-Leandro applauds the organization for increasing awareness about the disease

She says early detection is key to surviving the disease and encourages both men and women to do frequent exams.

Quinn- Leandro also praises the international band, 3rd World which recently lost a member, as well as the other the performers who participated free of cost for the cause.
