MINISTER NICHOLAS ELECTED TO HIGH-PROFILE POST IN GLOBAL RENEWABLES AGENCY

Energy Minister Hon. Melford Nicholas is the new vice president representing Latin America and the Caribbean at the 16th session of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).

The event has drawn to a close in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.

The minister led the country’s delegation to the high-level meeting, where he championed the cause of small island developing states in sustainable energy pathways.
