Minister of Culture calls for total participation for Independence celebrations

A call is being made by Minister of Culture the Hon. Eleston Adams for members of the political system; whether in government or opposition, to join hands in celebrating the nation’s 32^nd Independence.

Adams is also encouraging full participation in the planned activities and urges citizens to put aside politics and come together as one nation.

Minister Adams was speaking at the launch of the Independence Homecoming celebration which took place at the Dean William Lake Cultural Centre, featuring national songs and dances. The Independence activities will begin on October 24, with the Independence Homecoming Queen Show and conclude on November 1. The celebration is being held under the theme “Antigua and Barbuda One Family: Celebrating With Pride, Vision and Integrity.”
