Monk’s Hill Restoration

The Fort George site at Monk’s Hill is now on the country’s national priority list, where the restoration of national treasures is concerned.

Spanish Archaeologist, Beatriz Marin-Aguilera formally presented her team’s findings to Culture Minister, the Hon. Paul “Chet” Greene, representatives of the National Authorizing Office (NAO) and the media on Wednesday, during a brief meeting at the Minister’s office.

The restoration forms part of efforts to increase the country’s offerings in the tourism sector through Heritage Tourism.
