MOTHER OF ACCIDENT VICTIM LAMENTS MOTORIST’S ACTION

The mother of a man hit by a vehicle on Independence Drive is lamenting the action of the motorist who she said left the scene.

Thana Ashe says her 21 year old son was hit by a silver Honda Civic on Independence Avenue about 11am.

He was reportedly attempting to cross the road in the vicinity of Country Pond when the incident happened.

Ashe says her disabled son was treated at hospital for cuts and bruises and later discharged, but is displeased with what she says was the motorist’s callous approach.
