MOTORIST HOSPITALISED AFTER CRASH ON SIR GEORGE WALTER HIGHWAY
A male motorist was transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center after he was involved in a crash on Sir George Walter Highway.
Although his injuries are not considered life-threatening, the lone occupant of the Nissan car complained of pains all over his body.
He was travelling from north to south on the thoroughfare when he reportedly lost control of the vehicle and slammed into the perimeter fence of the Airport.
The vehicle came to a halt several feet inside the airport compound.
According to Airport security officials, some 60 feet of the perimeter fence was destroyed during the crash.
