MSJMC LAB RECEIVES TIER 1 RATING

Mount St. John’s Medical Center has achieved a Tier 1 rating in its laboratory performance.
Chief of Staff Ambassador Lionel Hurst says this is very important as hospitals cannot function efficiently without proper laboratory facilities.

He also gives kudos to Health Minister the Honorable Molwyn Joseph and his Ministry for ensuring the kinds of services demanded by the public is provided at the hospital.
Minister Joseph told Cabinet colleagues the new rating represents a significant turnaround, following the poor state of the lab in 2014.
The government says the new rating is higher than any similar institution across the OECS.
The rating was provided after what the cabinet says was a thorough measurement of the Lab’s numbers and proficiency.
