NATION GIVES THANKS AT START OF NEW YEAR

The nation pauses to give thanks to God at dawn of a new year.
Government officials joined with a cross section of Antiguans and Barbudans on Sunday in thanking the Almighty for bringing the nation through another year.
The National Thanksgiving Service was held at the St. Johns’ Pentecostal Church House of Restoration.
