NATIONAL CLEAN UP UNDERWAY
The national clean-up got off to a positive start in Potters in Zone one.
General Manager of the National Solid Waste Management Authority, Daryl Spencer says based on what he’s seeing the authority might be able to make its projection of four days per zone.
Spencer says approximately forty four truckloads of bulk waste has been cleaned up in about five hours.
Work also extended to surrounding areas in Berlins and Herberts and it’s hoped this will extend into Paynters and Pigotts by the end of Wednesday.
The clean up continues across the country in eight other zones and Barbuda over the next 6 weeks.
