NATIONAL SAILING ACADEMY SELECTED FOR GRANT FUNDING

The National Sailing Academy’s Round South Community Student Sailing Project has been selected as this year’s Sir Andy Roberts Community Development Foundation grant funding awardee.
National Sailing Academy General Manager Alison Sly-Adams says the goal is to create equal opportunities for all young people to dive into the yachting industry.

Sly-Adams tells ABS, due to the covid-19 pandemic, two schools who had previously been working with the Sailing Academy have opted to discontinue the partnership.
Sly-Adams says they then took the opportunity to expand further South.

She says the national Sailing Academy received $10,000 in grant funding for the project.
