NEW AIRPORT CEO SETS SIGHTS ON MAJOR PROJECTS

The newly-confirmed Chief Executive Officer of the Antigua and Barbuda Airport Authority has been speaking with ABS news about her plans.
Euletta Francis says major projects crucial to the operations of the facility will be receiving her attention.
She revealed that the runway of the airport is due resurfacing.

Meanwhile, there’s progress on the installation of a new Tower Cab for Air Traffic controllers, which is the large glass enclosure, which sits atop the control tower at the airport.

She says between the installation of the equipment and the training, the project should be completed by the end of October this year.
