New Airport Terminal to Attract Flights from Larger Markets
The country’s Non-Resident Ambassador to the Republic of China,Sir. David Shoul,anticipates that the planned expansion of the runway at the VC Bird International Airport would seek to attract more direct flights from larger markets, including China.
Ambassador Shoul, who has been engaged in the negations says certain mechanisms are being finalized.
Meantime, he says that high level talks have begun for developments at the Deep Water Harbour.
Ambassador Shoul, adds that a team of technical experts are expected on island shortly to assess the marine needs of the government.
Antigua and Barbuda and the People’s Republic of China have enjoyed bilateral relationsfor over 30 years.
