New CARICOM Song Launched

The melodious lyrics of one of the region’s most talented songstresses and song writers will live on in the hearts of Caricom citizens in years to come as the song for the regional integration movement.

Titled “Celebrating Caricom,” the musical piece, written by Michele (Mikel) Henderson of Dominica, evokes and celebrates the history, traditions and struggles of the Caribbean people.

In accepting the award after winning ahead of 56 of the region’s most acclaimed song writers, the mother of two says she is happy and humbled with the opportunity to contribute to regional integration.
