New Improvements For Sir Vivian Richards Stadium

Government is seeking ways to make the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium more self sufficient.

The Minister, under whose portfolio the edifice falls, the Hon. E.P. Chet Greene, says it is time that the stadium is seen as a multifaceted facility and not just for cricket.

He adds that it takes a lot to maintain both the building and the grounds.

Greene is confident that by establishing recreational areas for both children and adults, it will attract more interest in the facility.

He says plans are also being made to have Sir Vivian Richards on the spot at certain times to take pictures with visitors and locals alike.
He further details how the facility will be diversified.
