Newcomers Ava and Lyrical Boss Crowned Groovy and Jumpy Monarchs

Nine-year-old Eva Magloire, aka “AVA”, and 12-year-old Jontae Francis, aka “Lyrical Boss”, walked away with the Groovy and Jumpy titles in the 2025 Oasis Water Junior Party Monarch Competition.

Ava’s performance of “Safe Zone” not only earned her the groovy title but also the best performer award, best new artist and most improved.

She denied former winner Empress Buchanan, aka “Jai’lilah”, who placed 2nd runner up with her song “Act like you blind” and Jacquena Tapping, aka “Nova”, who took the 1st runner up spot with “Bialando”.

In the Jumpy segment, another newcomer, Lyrical Boss, claimed the crown as the crowd was in a frenzy with his tune “Jamming Now”.

Nova was again among the top three, placing 2nd runner up with “Carry On” while Xayden Cabey, aka Xayden, captured the 1st runner up spot with “Charge Up”.
