NO CHANGES TO OPERATING HOURS FOR BARS

Bars will not have to readjust their hours of operation for now.

That’s according to Minister of Information the Hon. Melford Nicholas speaking during the ABS Evening News on Wednesday night.

His comments follow suggestions from the Ministry of Health that government will have to curtail their hours of operation after noticing a relaxation in the health protocols at a number of these entertainment facilities, especially with respect to social gatherings and safe distancing.

Nicholas however says the government will remain watchful and the authorities will Increase their vigilance to ensure there are no violations of the safety protocols.
