NO CHANGES TO PLACEMENT IN GSNA
With the advent of universal education, all students taking the Grade Six National Assessment are given automatic entry to secondary schools.
Director of Education Clare Browne says this is how students are placed.
However, only students making the top 100 list will get to choose which public secondary school they’d like to attend.
Browne is adamant only in certain circumstances will there be a shift in placement for other students.
He says changes in address will also not be considered.
