No Date Yet For The First Meeting Of The Barbuda Council Following Council Elections

Minister for Barbuda Affairs the Hon, Arthur Nibbs says a date is yet to be set for the inaugural meeting to constitute the Barbuda Council on the heels of council elections this week.

That meeting will see the selection of a Council Chair and Deputy as well as a Senator to represent the Sister Isle in Parliament’s Upper House.

Meanwhile, Minister Nibbs says his team will meet shortly to determine likely candidates for the positions to be filled.
