No evidence tear gas into the crowd

Minister with responsibility for national security, the Hon. Steadroy Cutie Benjamin, is resolute that there is no evidence that law enforcement fired tear gas into the crowd on carnival Tuesday.

His statements were made in light of claims in some quarters that the Police used the substance as a means of crowd control.

The Minister spoke with ABS News on Monday, seeking to set the record straight, as Aisha Caleb reports.
