NO REPRIEVE FOR BAR OWNERS

Bars will remain shuttered for at least another week as no reprieve has been granted by Cabinet.

While eager patrons and bar owners alike were anticipating better news, Information Minister the Honourable Melford Nicholas says a representative group of owners has been invited to submit protocols for consideration.  He says this is similar to conditions set for restaurant owners before licenses to reopen were granted.

The submission of proposed protocols and safeguards will be via Zoom and will be convened by a sub-committee of Cabinet Ministers and Officials from the Ministry of Health.
