Not Me says Chief State Solicitor

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad, Sept 15, CMC – Chief State Solicitor Christophe Grant Monday denied penning a letter which warned environmentalist Dr. Wayne Kublalsingh that the state would move to prevent him from embarking upon a hunger strike to stop the construction of a highway in south Trinidad.
“I am not the author, I did not pen any of the thoughts, words or expression in that letter. I came in my office at five o clock, I searched the file, there is indeed a letter from the Chief State Solicitor signed by one of my junior attorneys who has conduct of the matter,” Grant said on radio here.
