There is a fresh call for residents to desist from improper waste disposal.

The National Solid Waste Management Authority says this practice makes the job of keeping drains clean infinitely harder.

The challenge is especially urgent during this Atlantic Hurricane season, as the agency is on alert for any threat of severe weather.
