OECS REGIONAL LAW CONFERENCE OPENS
The 16th annual OECS Regional Law conference opened this morning at the St. James’ Club.
The event, hosted by the Antiguan and Barbudan Bar Association, is bringing together members of the regional legal fraternity for the next two days.
President of the OECS Bar Association, Thaddeus Antoine, welcomes and thanks the attendees.
The event coincides with the 30th anniversary of the OECS Bar Association.
Legal luminaries from across the sub-region have gathered here in Antigua for the event, including Chief Justice of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court, the Hon. Dame Janice Pereira.
It’s estimated there will be roughly 130 members of the legal fraternity participating in this year’s conference.
