There was intense debate about corporal punishment in schools during cabinet’s meeting on Wednesday, mirroring the divergent views in society.

Ahead of public consultations on the issue, the Education Minister and Education Director are sharing their personal views on the matter.

Both say ultimately the citizens would determine the way to go.
