ONCOLOGIST OUTLINES STARK FIGURES ABOUT BREAST CANCER RISK

Over 10 per cent of breast cancer cases diagnosed at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre over the last three years have been in women under the age of 40.
The stark figures come from Chief Consultant Oncologist at SLBMC, Dr Hanybal Yazigi during ABS’ House Calls Tuesday evening.
He says this may trigger a change in the future regarding the age at which mammograms are recommended.
