OPTIMISM BUILDS IN A&B AMIDST PLANS FOR TWO MORE US EMBASSIES IN THE NORTH-EAST CARIBBEAN

Information Minister Hon. Melford Nicholas says an announcement by United States Vice President Kamala Harris of two additional US embassies in the North Eastern Caribbean “portends potential good news for Antigua and Barbuda.” The announcement was made while VP Harris met with Caribbean leaders in Nassau, Bahamas on Thursday. Minister Nicholas represented Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne at the meeting, where the US announced another package of assistance to the Caribbean.
