PAHO ENCOURAGES VACCINE IN EPICENTRE AMERICAS

PAHO Director Dr. Carissa Etienne is continuing the Pan American Health Organization’s pleas for people in the region to take the Covid-19 vaccines as they become available.
The Director says efforts to downplay the efficacy of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine should be rubbished.

Etienne says a simple look at vaccine efficacy with other epidemics should encourage those still hesitant.

There are now 399 active cases of COVID-19 in Antigua and Barbuda.
