PARENTS URGED TO ENSURE THEIR CHILDREN RECEIVE HPV VACCINATION

Parents are being urged to ensure that children as well as young adults are vaccinated against the Human Papillomavirus (HPV).

Chair of the Health Ministry’s Cervical Cancer Taskforce, Dr Cherie Tulloch, is also highlighting the importance of the vaccine pointing to its proven role in preventing infection and reducing the risk of HPV-related cancers.
