Phase 2 of Airport Airlift Rehab Now Complete

Officials are celebrating the completion of Phase 2 of the V.C. Bird International Airport Airfield Rehabilitation Project.

Officials oversaw the final inspection and acceptance for the phase on Tuesday, marking a significant advancement in the phased modernisation of the airside infrastructure.

This follows completion of the major Phase 1 of the project last week.  The overall US$55 million rehabilitation is set to be complete by September 2026.
