PM BATS FOR GOVT’S OWN SUB-SEA FIBRE, LOWER BROADBAND RATES
Prime Minister, Hon. Gaston Browne says the Government’s investment in a sub-sea fibre is crucial if the country is to continue on its path of digital transformation.
The Prime Minister also says broadband rates must be more affordable if Caribbean countries are to be early adopters of artificial intelligence.
He made the case as he welcomed attendees to the inaugural Artificial Intelligence Conference being staged by the University of the West Indies Five Islands campus.
