PM BROWNE DEFENDS SOCIAL SECURITY’S PENDING INVESTMENT IN JOLLY BEACH HOTEL

Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne has mounted a vigorous defence of the Social Security Board’s pending investment of XCD$75 million into the Jolly Beach Hotel.

The Government is to provide the funding for the investment, which it says will strengthen the financial sustainability of the Social Security scheme. Prime Minister Browne has also pushed back against concerns from members of the opposition on the issue.
