PM BROWNE DISAPPOINTED IN COP26 COMMITMENTS

That’s how Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne describes the ongoing 26th United Nations Conference of the Parties or COP26 in Glasglow, Scotland.
The head of government, who is also Chairman of the Alliance of Small Island States, returned to the island this morning.
He tells ABS global leaders failed to make commitments that could have significantly altered the direction of the response to climate change.

Prime Minister Browne warns the failure of countries who contribute heavily to global carbon emissions to take meaningful action will only worsen the climate crisis.

This conference has been billed as the world’s last best chance of averting climate catastrophe.
