Prime Minister Gaston Browne says there may be a need for a Caribbean bank to combat de- risking in the region.
De-risking happens when banks sever their relationships with corresponding banks that they find to be high risk.

Prime Minister Browne says Caricom plans to raise its advocacy on the issue by bringing greater awareness to the intricacies of de- banking namely to regulators in the United States, Europe and Canada.
