PM BROWNE RESPONDS TO INFLATION CONCERNS

The government has pointed to official figures showing inflation was lower last year than in 2020.
Prime Minister Hon Gaston Browne announced in his budget presentation on Thursday the Consumer Price Index fell from 2.8% in 2020 to 1.2% in 2021.
However, Prime Minister Browne says his administration continues to monitor inflationary pressures.
