Prime Minister Browne, who is also Chair of the 44-member Alliance of Small Island States, AOSIS, was addressing 39 other world leaders today at a virtual climate summit hosted by US President Joe Biden.

The US has pledged to cut carbon emissions by 50-52% below 2005 levels by the year 2030.
