PMS STUDENT’S FINGER ALMOST SEVERED IN ATTACK

A 14-year-old student of Princess Margaret School is receiving treatment for serious injuries after a group of male attackers pounced on him outside the school’s compound this afternoon.
The incident happened on the eastern side of Hilda Davis Drive near the junction with Dickenson Bay Street.
The teenager reportedly sustained lacerations to four fingers on his left hand and one of his fingers is said to be partially severed.
A sharp instrument was reportedly used in the attack and one of the assailants is believed to have also sustained an injury.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
