Police Are Updating The Public On A Major Investigation

Officers are still in the midst of their probe into the remains found in Cades Bay on January 7.

The remains were found by a couple from Colorado in the United States who were hiking in the area.

The male visitor then made the call to the Johnson’s Point Police Station late afternoon on Monday January 8 to inform them of the discovery.

Officers were only able to get to the scene on Tuesday 9, because of poor lighting conditions and other to collect what appeared to be a human skull on the ground.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Atlee Rodney provided an update to our news team.

Another case still under investigation is that of Joseph Lindsey who has been missing since January of 2017.
