Police Commissioner Says Promotions Are Imminent For Some Cops

There is an update this evening from the Police Commissioner about pending promotions of some officers in the rank and file of the Police Force.

The Police Chief addressed the issue at the Force’s 2017 Thanksgiving service at the Multi-purpose Centre in Perry Bay this morning.

He noted that the issue is usually foremost on the minds of the officers around this time of the year.

Sources tell ABS dozens of officers are set to be promoted and the names could be released within weeks.

The annual Thanksgiving Service allows officers the opportunity to express gratitude to the Almighty for the successes of the past year and ask for guidance for the New Year.

Rank and file members and the force’s top brass gathered in songs of praise and scripture reading.
