POLICE PROBE DEATH OF NEWFIELD MAN

The police are now investigating the second murder for 2021…
The community of Newfield was rocked by the killing of 56 year old David Roberts, who was found with a chop wounds early Friday morning.
An alleged altercation developed between Roberts and a 26 year old man who are known to each other.
Roberts’ body was later found in the vicinity of his home with injuries.
He was pronounced dead shortly after 9 this morning.
Meanwhile, the 26 year old suspect is now in police custody assisting in their investigations; he is being represented by Attorney Wendel Robinson.
