POLICE PROBE SUDDEN DEATH OF GERMAN CRUISE VISITOR

A 57 year old German cruise tourist was pronounced dead at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre shortly after noon today, after being found unresponsive at Long Bay. He and his wife arrived on a cruise ship this morning, and went on a catamaran to Long Bay. His wife reportedly noticed him floating face-down in the water, after having a few drinks. He was rushed to hospital where his death was confirmed.

He had reportedly been battling chronic health challenges. A post-mortem will determine the cause of death.
