POLICE SAY THEY HAVE NOT RELEASED MALE SUSPECT IN CHANTEL CRUMP CASE

Highly-placed police sources say the male suspect in the abduction and murder of 9 year old Chantel Crump has not been released, contrary to speculations in sections of the public.

Law enforcers insist the investigation is continuing in earnest, notwithstanding the murder charge laid against 20-year-old Angela Mejia, who is now on remand at His Majesty’s Prison.

Law enforcers have not gone into detail, citing the sensitive nature of the probe.

They are moving to assure the public that no effort will be spared in the thorough investigation into the circumstances which led to Crump’s abduction and murder.
