PORT MANAGER CLEARS THE AIR AMID COMPLAINTS FROM IMPORTERS OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE

There are howls of concerns from local importers of agricultural produce, who say they have incurred thousands of dollars in losses because of inefficient processes at the cargo port at Deep Water Harbour.

They say their goods are received in a condition which makes resale impossible. 

However, Port Manager, Darwin Telemaque, says the challenge lies with the exporter in Dominica, and not the port.
