POST OFFICE CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

The General Post Office is closed until further notice.

It comes in the wake of industrial action by staffers over what they say are unsanitary conditions at the facility.

They have raised concerns that recent flooding has left parts of the building water-logged.

The Unions representing workers are demanding a meeting with key officials inclusive of Works Minister the Hon. Lennox Weston to set timelines to address the worker’s concerns.
