PRIME MINISTER ADDRESSES HOT-BUTTON HEMISPHERIC ISSUES; CALLS FOR COLLABORATION BETWEEN US AND CHINA

Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne has welcomed the Americas Partnership for Economic Prosperity announced by United States President Joe Biden.
Prime Minister Browne has however said incurring more debt is not an option for many Caribbean countries.
He was addressing fellow hemispheric leaders at the Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles, California on Friday, where he tackled hot-button geopolitical issues.
He also recommended the US and China collaborate to quicken the pace of the region’s economic transformation.
