PRIME MINISTER BROWNE MEETS WITH UK SECRETARY OF STATE

The Cabinet of Antigua and Barbuda Wednesday invited UK Secretary of State and COP26 President the Right Honourable Alok Sharma to its weekly meeting.

Prime Minister the Honourable Gaston Browne illuminated this country’s position on several issues.  These included climate justice, the use of Debt to GDP ratio in determining vulnerability, and financing green energy resilient projects.

Meanwhile Sharma has pledged the UK’s commitment to doing more to delimit the plight of climate-sensitive states like Antigua and Barbuda.
