Prime Minister Gaston Browne Approves The Suspension Of Police Commissioner Wendell Robinson

Prime Minister Gaston Browne has given his approval to the changes at the top of the police hierarchy.

Chairman of the Police Service Commission Kelvin John received Prime Minister Browne’s approval during the course of yesterday’s (Thursday) Cabinet meeting.

Police Commissioner Wendel Robinson has been suspended with immediate effect and instructed to turn over control of the force to Deputy Commissioner Atlee Rodney.

The decision was communicated to Mr Robinson by John, and comes in the wake of a probe into allegations against the senior cop by three police officers.
