PROMINENT BOOKSTORE PREPARES TO CLOSE AMIDST TECHNOLOGY IMPACT, OTHER FACTORS

The Best of Books, located on Lower St Mary’s Street, is to close permanently this summer, after 25 years of operation.

It has long been recognized for its wide selection of books and its support for local authors.

However, a confluence of factors, including the impact of technology on reading habits, is rewriting the script.
