PUBLIC EYE CARE UPDATE

Over seven- thousand Antiguans are blind in one eye. That’s according to census data several years ago. As a result, in 2017 The Caribbean Council for the Blind in collaboration with the Government of Antigua and Barbuda launched its Public Eye Care Program.
ABS’s Leon Norville spoke with the National Vision Centre’s Chief Executive Officer about the program’s growth and future plans.
