2019 QUEEN OF CARNIVAL DELEGATES

Queen of Carnival Contestants Named

As promised, the Queen of Carnival Competition is back in this year’s line-up of activities.

The Antigua and Barbuda Festivals Commission and the Queen of Carnival Queens Committee have presented the six young ladies vying for the coveted title.

They are:

1. Sania Paul
2. Azariah Moore
3. Maurisa Carbon
4. Shannakisha Francis
5. Francesca Southwell
6. Rudelle Morrison

The Show is slated for Friday 26^th July and will see the young women competing in six categories- Culture Wear, Swim Wear, Public Speaking, Performing Talent, Evening Wear and Interview.

The Theme for this year’s competition is “I am Woman”

The competition returns to the line-up of carnival events after it was re-branded in 2015 as Miss Antigua and Barbuda Pageant, which lasted last three years.

Minister with responsibility for Culture, the Hon. Daryll Matthew says he is pleased to see the event return to the carnival line-up under his leadership.

The unveiling took place Thursday evening at Casa Palmadita in Fitches Creek.
